CAN indeed clean your silver jewelry.
Now I’m not a huge jewelry wearer, and my poor neglected silver jewelry shows it.
While browsing the web for home remedy cleaners, I stumbled up the concoction.
I felt like a certified mad scientist.
Tin foil? Check
Vinegar? Check
Salt? Check
Baking soda? Check
It was uncommonly cool! I took a sheet of tin foil in a pan and added very hot water and the various other ingredients, I stirred the water and dropped the jewelry in, making sure it had full contact with the tin foil.
Voila!
And no messy chemicals!
Sigh.
It is so very easy to amuse myself.

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

It’s not MY birthday…
Invoking a stern tone of voice
Now quit cheering me in return and back away from the computer slowly. I mean it!

I shall have to resort to sneaky cheerbombing, if this keeps up.
Take the cheers I give and give them to Roxi! See… Now isn’t that a great idea?
Come on… You know it makes sense…

Like I am coming down with a cold just before I head out to see my Parental Units. I have been taking Zicam and Airborne, but if I do come down with the big cold….......
I’m balming Josh!
EDIT: BLAMING, not balming. (I blame Josh for the misspell.)

My beloved sister and I fly to Florida to spend the Holidays with our much loved parental units. (June & Ward)
We will be right on the water at our parents house. Shirks Bayou right off of Chocktahatchee Bay. It is close to an area of beautiful powder white sand beaches.
Just a bit up the way is Appalachicola. We will enjoy mucho raw oysters, or just me anyway… Jenny doesn’t much care for the raw oysters bit.
It has been many, many years since Jenny and I shared Christmas with Mom & Dad. I don’t really want or need anything, but just to be together.
THAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF THE HOLIDAYS.
Word up.

And the numerous incredible people that know and love Roxi are an excellent indicator of her worth. Then you simply have to read her entries to see for yourself.
Roxi, you are a luminous, beautiful person that graces everyone with your kindness and caring.
It is a pleasure to be subscribed to you!

I will NOT cry… I will NOT cry.
It’s just so fecking romantic.

What the heck!
It’s worth a shot… And sweet and funny leiermann really misses her.
So I wonder if maybe Gerard the Adventuresome Lobster, Wyviewoo’s pancakes or Cookie’s pants have seen Quacky the Duck?
To those curious….
She went missing many years ago when leiermann was a young lad and he misses her greatly. (People have special and deep bonds with their invisible childhood friends and he said she was an amazing duck)

I am gonna have to get serious about getting my PHR certification from SHRM.
If I want to excel and move forward in Human Resources, I need some cert to back me up. For some reason there are people out there that think you don’t really know anything about this subject unless you have it. (Go figure… Wanting a cert? Or degree? Gasp! How shocking!)
And then….
Cut to inner dialogue…. But I don’t wanna!!!! Suck it up, WW… You’re doing this for your own good!

But thankfully I finally did. It has become one of my new favorites.
I had heard someone complaining (And not in a constructive, what can we do about it way) and the person they were complaining to cocked their head and said, “Did you hear that?”
The complainer looked puzzled and shook their head.
The person they complained to then said, “I thought I just heard a Whaaaaaaambulance come in.”
For now it trumps my usual favorite of “Would you like some cheese with that whine?”
I understand people need to vent… But then they need to think of constructive ways to make the situation better.
I say…. Go ahead, be mad at something stupid. That’s only natural. But for goodness sakes… If you don’t want it to happen again, think about how to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Just one of those things I always ponder on… and TRY to make sure I live by.
Alas, I am not always sucessful at it, but I DO try.

I heard a Cure song on the radio on the way home.
Inbetween Days
Yesterday I got so old
I felt like I could die
Yesterday I got so old
It made me want to cry
Go on go on
Just walk away
Your choice is made
Go on go on
And disappear
Go on go on
Away from here
And I know I was wrong
When I said it was true
That it couldn’t be me and be her
Inbetween without you
Without you
Yesterday I got so scared
I shivered like a child
Yesterday away from you
It froze me deep inside
Come back come back
Don’t walk away
Come back come back
Come back today
Come back come back
Why can’t you see
Come back come back
Come back to me
And I know I was wrong
When I said it was true
That it couldn’t be me and be her
Inbetween without you
Without you
It reminded me of college.
It reminded me of how long the songs always were and how it felt like it went on FOREVER out on the dance floor.
What great exercise it all was…
Thankfully, since it helped balance out all the beer I know I must have consumed.
