reacently read the davinci code and watched dogma.
i know totaly unrelated except for the fact that they both deal with hidden aspects of religion. watched the extras on dogma and director kevin smitt aka silent bob and dan brown have gotten deat threats for their subject matter. what gets me is the fact that so called good christians(ones that are following Gods good word and spreading it suposidly.) these are the people sending the death threats. How do good christian people following Gods word get so freaked out bad enough to threaten to commit one of the worst mortal sins. All in the name of God. Isn’t that hypocracy? Not to mention actual organized religion putting their 2 cents about it. When everyone knows (or at least should realize) that they are both fiction stories. nothing more than actual some facts put carefully together to make up and amazing story for entertainment pourpous only. Could both stories be true? just like any other written work in history (including the Bible) they were written be men and yes they could be true but does man lie? Yes man does!!!!! I believe why people are so upset is that these works have shaken their belief structure and now they are panicing, scrambling like two teens that hear the parents of the house pull up infront of the house and freaking out trying to get their clothes together. NOw don’t get me wrong religion is a great thing it gives people something to look forward to past life. people like these twisted people like the death threat wrighters that make it a bad thing. Personaly i’m athiest but unlike most other athiestthat dog religion as a whole that i am not. just like anything else people make it what it is. please don’t get mad at me here these are just random thoughts that run through my mind all the time as desturbing as it may be. this is just a way of purging my head of everything that is in me
