...because the opinions of people you love/respect WILL always matter. so unless i eliminate such people from my life (and i have no intention of doing so anytime in the foreseeable future), i’ll never be able to click on “i’ve done this” in all truthfulness. BUT, i’ll keep this on my list, to remind myself not to be bothered by the opinions of people who don’t know any better.
i’ve come to believe that when you judge less, you’ll tend to perceive that others are judging you less as well. if such a change in perception sounds like self-delusion, might i add that even if you acknowledge that others may be judging you, their judgement starts to matter less to you. in your mind, you’ll be like, so i see you’re judging me… but that’s ok, you don’t know any better.
hmmm… does that last part count as judging?
