I store my recipes in a ring binder with dividers. However, most of what I make is from the recipe box of a family member, from cookbooks owned by a family member, from one of the two cookbooks I purchased, or from the Web. I need to locate the recipes which I use and collect them in the ring binder.

However, they are nothing like they were before I p… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I called the number of the organization that teaches DBT and inquired whether I could try a class without paying. I wanted this because of financial issues, so that I would not sign up for something that I could not do.However, one has to be enrolled in the program in order to go to classes. This is for confidentiality. I understand that. I did hope that I would be able to try.Calling was worth it. However, I am disappointed. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I found my family's recipe for making lasagna. Yesterday I spent hours reading The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris. It is the best novel I have read in years. I will probably finish reading the last hundred pages today.
I met with the psychologist tonight. This is the kind of therapy I appreciate—a practical commitment to getting something useful done. I am very much looking forward to my next appointment.
