Saw these at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley (Cincinnati) on Wednesday night. Rob Dickinson was OUTSTANDING (causing me to now pick up a bunch of Catherine Wheel stuff). I met him between sets and he’s a very cool guy too. Watching him I felt the same way I did when I heard Matt MAys for the first time a year ago.
The Church was also very good. Good musicianship, switching instruments with each other, fun personalities. A very good show.
I’m marking this goal as complete for 2006, but it will be an ongoing soft goal pretty much forever.
Blech!
Glen Livet and Glen Breton (Canadian single malt). I just don’t get it. I’m not giving up yet, but I’m moving this down the priority list.
