I logged my first geocache find and my first benchmark find today. I ended up taking a nice 5.5 mile hike to swing past these coordinates. Great activity!

A geocaching friend just equipped me with my very own GPS unit (can you believe that kind of generosity?). I’m off to seek the wizard!
I submitted my thesis to the graduate school yesterday. That means I am 99.999999% done with my degree; it needs only to get the final stamp of approval that the formatting is correct, and then I’m home free! I’m looking forward to receiving my degree in December, 2008. Woo hoo!
