While she’s not off medication completely, she is off the insulin. For Jeannie, that’s a major goal accomplished. Bless her heart, she’s trying so very hard.
Her long-term sugar has dropped from about 10.3 to 8.2 with her ultimate goal being 7. I am so very proud of her…she’s worked hard to get this down, and it’s beginning to pay off for her.
I started this site for my late sister, Lana, in 1999 after her death. It’s been a very difficult labor of love, and I’ve had an extremely hard time finishing the site.
I need to get past the pain of the memories and complete this for her. It’s the least I can do for such a wonderful person as was our Lana.
