Pony penning day is July 29th this year, and I am going. I just convinced my sister to go also, and we are going to find a hotel. It’s about a 10 hour drive so I hope it’s worth it!

How I did it: We stayed at a hotel in Salisbury, MD which is about 1 hr 15 minutes from Chincoteague. I would suggest staying in that town because it is far enough away that they don't jack their prices way up and you can easily drive in that morning.
