Day 2 and I’m mostly following it. I’ve done well with my eating, and even when to the gym. I just didn’t get to those strength training exercises.
Does it count if I seem to always spend my “10 minutes” doing the dishes? I’m about to go on dish strike. How am I supposed to get everything else done when I’m scrubbing out the pots again?
I got most of the things done this weekend that I wanted to. It’s pretty easy, though, when you don’t have work getting in the way. We’ll see how this week goes. I’m really nervous, actually. Saturday’s my first day back to school and I’m trying to keep up with this Sparkpeople regime. All these goals are great, but time consuming. When stuff starts stacking up, that’s when I tend to get overwhelmed and defeated. I’ve got to figure out how to NOT let that happen this time round.
It’s actually one of the few recipes I can come up with this morning that doesn’t require me going to the store. I do think it’s in direct odds with my goal: Lose 30 pounds.
Account created. This seems like a really cool site. Just as robust as the WW site I paid for several years ago, although maybe that’s gotten a bit better since the last time I used it. Whatever, yeah free stuff!
I spent a couple hours last night scrapping w/ Meg. Man, when you haven’t done that for a while, it takes a LONG time to get anything done. Anyway, I love the way my birthday page turned out. And I think the Honduras page is growing on me.
How do two people create so much laundry? Urgh. We’re getting there. And, we’ve been ironing everything and folding it as we go along, which is good. We should be done today. Craziness.
It turned out well, very tasty. I need to work on my pie/tart crust skills. A promising start, though.

So far, so good. As directed, it’s chilling over night. It did come together into a disc with no problem. Too early to shout “success”?!
I set my alarm and everything, I was going to go before work. But, seriously, 5 a.m. is so damn early. I can’t be responsible for the decisions I make at that time. Can’t go this afternoon because of the allergy shots. Will try again tomorrow.
This really would be the perfect week to start back at the gym. I’m making 3 awesome desserts for Thanksgiving: apple pie, Robyn’s Special Pumpkin Pie, and a cranberry galette.
That’s at least 3 deserts this week, right? Yeesh.
I did pretty well this weekend, although cleaning definitely didn’t fall into that constant 10-min parameter. I did reclaim my office, though, which is nice. And the living room/kitchen are looking good. Whatever you do though, don’t go into my bedroom. It’s awful!
It’s ridiculous how much money we spend grabbing lunch here, or ordering pizza because we’re too lazy to make supper. And, eating at a restaurant makes going vegan, much less vegan, is crazy difficult. Don’t even go to Friday’s if that’s one of your goals.
That said, I went to subway yesterday. And mom’s taking us out for brunch. Dammit. I’ll start tomorrow, I guess.
Urgh, this is hard. Surprisingly for me, it’s milk that’s hard to give up. Like in my coffee. I guess I need to give the Silk Creamers another shot. And I’ll just have to give up cold cereal all together, because soy milk on my cheerios just doesn’t work for me.
