Ok here’s the deal… I had to relocate to Los Angeles for work in October last year but my boyfriend still lives in Berkeley. Before I moved down he talked about marriage. Now he has doubts and is undecided. To add to the problem…He hates LA! He doesn’t like to visit and I haven’t seen him since New years day. I am not sure when I’m going to see him again. He could sense my anxiousness a week ago and asked me to give him slack and time. I slept on it and the next day I told him I’d grant him slack and give him time. He is overwhelmed, but I’m nervous about the relationship. I miss him, but he is preoccupied with work, family and friends. I want to wait for him to get out of the quagmire that he is in. I find it difficult to cut him slack, but I have to adapt or…accept the possibility of not surviving my long distance relationship. I need moral support,i.e. cheers daily “hooray for slackness!!!” to be able to go with flow and being able to “slide” into the next day or month without fear that things won’t be the same between us. The agony of love!
