I’ve been doing GREAT with this goal. I’m so proud of myself! It’s such a simple thing—why did I resist doing it for so long?
One thing that’s really working for me this time around: taking individual vitamins (one pill for vitamin B, one pill for vitamin D, one pill for calcium, etc) at various meals throughtout the day instead of ONE multivitamin (which tended to make my tummy upset).
From what I’ve read certain vitamins interfere with the absorbtion of other vitamins, so as long as I plan my intake accordingly, my body will receive maximum absorbtion of these nutrients. And of course I need to keep trying to eat healthy too!
I’m almost ready to consider this goal “accomplished” but I’m gonna do it a little bit longer before I take it off my list—just to be SURE it’s become an integral part of my daily routine.

I’m so excited! I had ordered new wall art recently (a Picaso print that I lovelovelove, and some equally wonderful works by a local artist too), and finally got a chance to hang everything this past weekend. Looks FAB! Really changed the feel of those areas in our family home.
Still have a lot of blank walls to tend to, but this relatively small accomplishment kinda lit a fire under my butt, and now I’m excited to do more. It’s a real delight to decorate our space—It’s almost as if I’m “marking” the walls and making them mine. A little bit of my style, a little bit of my spirit, a little bit of my interests… just hanging there and sending out good vibes every time I pass by… LOVE IT!

This used to be an easy thing for me, having fun. But it seems that as I’ve gotten older that I get task oriented and forget to stop, smile, laugh, and dance a little jig in the middle of my daily journey. :-)
I’m trying to be silly more, as well as create opportunities for fun activities and games with my family.
Recently we were blessed to take our family to southern California to visit relatives, and we made a point to hit Disneyland, Legoland, SeaWorld, etc. We had a blast! While I can’t afford to do that again anytime soon, it sure was a good reminder that “doing something a little different” can create a playful spirit. I think I’ll try to think of some new and different things I can do around my own home town!
