I’ve made some progress with the slow cooker – I’ve got a good recipe for French basil chicken and a few other things – but the slow cooker can be impractical. Since I lost my cookbooks in the move, I’ve bought ‘em again so I can diversify my cooking portifolio, so to speak. I’m still not a master, but wish me luck.
Also, my cousin’s moved in with me, and I’ve attempted to force my culinary experiments on him as much as possible, which isn’t too often, since we have different schedules and he’s away weekends. But it’s nice to have willing audience around sometimes. Baby steps, baby steps!
It’s this site (internationalmixtapeproject.com) that connects mixtape makers all over the globe. You send and receive one a month. I sent my last one to Virginia and got one from Toronto. Next assignment is Middlesex, England, UK. I totally recommend it to all my music nerds out there. Love you guys!
Oh, and check out my recent mixtape history here:
