I’ve been living off of my savings since July 2008. And now that I practically have no money left, I really should start looking for a job. I like being funemployed right now. I’ve never been happier in my life. I love my open schedule and I love having time to do all the things I want to do and read all the books I want to read.

How I did it: It takes time to heal. One day, I came to realize that I was so much better off. I gave myself a few weeks after the break up to cool off and found happiness in other things.I no-longer identified myself as being connected with another person but rather a single unit.After the initial healing period, seeing him again didn't hurt me as much as I thought it would.
