I took to Yoga because I can’t stand the gym (and I don’t have enough time to come and go to the next Bally’s!) and because it seemed both relaxing and challenging. Well, what I did was to get one of those DVDs with someone explaining each step carefully and now I do my Daily Dozen almost on my own and almost anywhere.
I’m far from being perfectly fit and a Yoga expert (there are some positions I have never tried) but I feel good and it’s helped my back.
So there. You don’t need millions, hours of free time or be exceptionally talented to do Yoga. That’s why it rules. At least for me.

Well, I’m defending my dissertation in two days. I’m a nervous wreck, but I’m friggin’ done! Yay for me!
I’ve finished the proposal, defended it (Yay!) and now I’m collecting data. Hope I can write the two missing chapters in two months and a half. Wish me luck!!!
