I can’t say I’ve “loved” every part of my Air Force career so far. However, it has given me a career starting at age 17, the ability to travel overseas by age 19, drink legally at age 19 (overseas), and an opportunity for a pension at age 37. Not to mention I’ve received over $42K in commercial training and certifications in the last 4 years. By the end of this summer I will be an MCSE 2003 with an upgrade to 2007 in December, an MCT, a CISSP, CEH and CCNA. Yup this summer alone they have spent almost $50K in training. I also received my BS in Business Management earlier this year. Yes my friends the Air Force has been good to me. But like I said it’s not all easy and my training isn’t common across the Air Force. But if you have small goals or none at all, or need guidance in your life at a young age, join up like I did right after HS and be prepared for a life changing experience.

live in italy
Military 2 years ago

I was in Italy for 4 1/2 years. I was so glad to get stationed there and I’m grateful for all the things I did, and regretful for all the things I “didn’t” do.

The military paid for me to go over there so I can’t speak on cost or anything like that.
