i really want Europe to be the last continent i visit.

so far i’ve been to North America (all over), South America (Ecuador-and does Panama count as N or S??), Asia (China-all over, currently living in Shenyang).

i really want to go to Antarctica next, which will work nicely as an excuse to go to Australia as well.

...and loved every second of it. it was my first time outside the US. i went as an undergrad and studied biology in the amazon rainforest, alpine fauna of the Andes, and took an 8-day jaunt to the galapagos. i wasn’t a bio major; i just went because it sounded like a blast! i was admitted into the competitive program because of my personal statement i wrote.

i took the train to Beijing from the remote city in NE China I’m living in for the year. it was comfy and modern. i’d do it again in a heartbeat—especially because you pay for your transportation and hotel in one!
