How I did it: I was visiting my friend Dee Dee who lives about 25 miles outside of Ithaca , NY. Ithaca is in the Finger Lakes region which is a great place to find a whhooollle bunch of winerys. We went to Cayuga lake and stopped by 6 winerys. My faves were Lucas Vineyards, Hosmer Winery, and the Thirsty Owl Wine Company. I would recommend against Sheldrake Point Vineyard. How I did it: I run outside on track around this park near my house. There's a lot of hills and flat parts on the track so it's a good mix.When I first started I could barely run a few minutes without feeling totally winded. I just told myself if I kept at it then I would eventually get better.
