Hard to read at times, partly because of the subject matter and partly the shifting from present (1870s) to the different character’s pasts. Bit confusing generally but really good book. Wonderful poetic use of language.

Read this a few months ago but forget to write about it. It was ok. Watched the film last week which was brilliant though slightly a lot altered from the book. I can’t really remember much about the book tbh. The dwarves and badger and reepicheep rock :D

I bought this for a module I ended up quitting at uni but glad I read it as was surprisingly good! Rather eerie. I had seen part of a tv adaptation but the book was really good and I think I would like to read more Sherlock Holmes stories.
