i drove my car today! big step for me in overcoming the fear

I’m half greek, and ever since I can remember I wanted to learn the language. My mom and aunt/uncle speak it fluently, and also my grandmother. I’ve always wanted to learn to speak it and be able to talk to my grandmother in her native language. I don’t know why she and my mom never taught us when we were little, but I am going to ask them to try now.

I’m so afraid of public speaking! When I’m in class and I have to give a presentation, it’s the worst day of my life. I hope one day I can get over it.

I’ve had bad skin for as long as I can remember…acne drives me nuts! The worst part is, my acne is only mild/moderate, so you would think it would be easy to clear up. WRONG! It is unbelievably persistent, and nothing seems to work. I will keep going to my dermatologist and trying new things until I get rid of it. It’s embarrassing to be 20 years old with bad skin!

I over analyze a lot of things, especially when it comes to things I have said/people have said to me. I need to stop worrying so much about it!

I want to be able to stick up for myself and others, and not be so afraid of a little conflict when it means defending myself.

Ever since I broke up with my boyfriend, I’ve been in a huge rut friend-wise. I lost all my friends chasing after him, and lost all his friends when we broke up. I need people to hang out with, but not just random people who I barely like. I want actual good friends.

I kinda always knew that I wouldn’t get my license at the same time all my friends did, because I was basically terrified of driving. I have been for a while, and it’s only now that I want to start learning to drive because I am getting a safe car for Christmas :) I am hoping to do this before I turn 21.

I’ve wanted a tattoo basically ever since I knew what one was. I’ve been able to get one for 2 years now, but haven’t gotten around to it. I want it to be meaningful, and not just something I got for the hell of it. I have a few ideas, but I’m not set on the exact design or place to put it yet, plus I need to save up a bit of cash first!
