the sad reality 3 months ago

I was offered a job in Puebla, which would be perfect for me, except that it pays very little. For me right now, the most important thing is the K-1 visa I’m trying to obtain, and that costs a lot of money. I told the school in Puebla that I’d love to come in the future and asked them to keep my resume on file. They agreed.

I did it! 4 months ago

Upon returning to the States, I planted some basil in my garden. Today I decided there was enough to harvest to make 4 servings of pesto, and I did it! It was fantastic, really fresh and really easy to make. I highly recommend it!

I am back! 4 months ago

In the US, that is. It mostly sucks, but not for my basil-making adventures. I actually already bought some pine nuts and planted some basil, so I’m just waiting to harvest it! Yay!
