In ALL aspects of my clothes, I will only wear monochromatic colors + dark earth tones (the earth tones will be worn sparingly, to add color). I’ve always been drawn to dark clothes, and went through a period where all my clothes were black, but now I want feminine, silhouette-enhancing clothes that are all about the shape. My body will be my style, and when I need to dress up I will incorporate dark browns, greens, and reds with the monochromatic daily wear.
My solution for those sentimental shirts: I’m going to send them in to a quilt-making place, like advertised in the Rolling Stone, and have them forever as a nice snuggly blankey.
I think this will stop me from feeling like a blob (aka: housewife syndrome). This change is correlating with a new job, at a yoga studio none-the-less.
