I am making plans to stay in a Hostel in Portland this coming April. I am saving up some money for the trip and going alone and just doing it. A little nervous, as I am a bit shy and don’t start conversations easily, so I hope it’s not awkward to stay with that many people.

I am doing this.
I have an interview next week at a book store for a full time job with benefits. I am pretty confident I will get it.
I am moving into a house off campus tomorrow.
I am going to take time off and read a lot and write a book. I’ll be taking one class in the fall. Then I’ll reexamine and decide what I want to do next: do I want to go back to school or just keep writing?
If I don’t get the job next week, I might have to just suck it up and stay in school.
I really hope that isn’t the case.
I go to a really small college in Washington state. (Small…less than 100 kids. Small.) We just moved to a new campus and nothing is the same. I like my classes a lot, but socially the school is just really different. I am also not getting a good value for my money-20000 dollars and they don’t even feed me! The only thing holding me back is my low GPA…I’m scared nowhere will take me. I am doing well this semester but I don’t think one good semester, one bad one, and another good one will be enough…
