join a book club (read all 3 entries…)
Thursday wasn't very happy 1 year ago

Somehow I had psyched myself up so much for the book club then i did not even go. I stayed at home and sulked :( Maybe next year.

read Anna Karenina
It's going to be a delayed accomplishment 1 year ago

I’m not sure why but I am not in the mood to read books of any form of complication lately. I take this as a failure on my part because I’ve always been really good at reading any book. I mean I read Gone With the Wind a few times while I was in the third grade. Complicated books have always been my forte’. However, I guess maybe I tried to jump back into reading with both my feet instead of testing the water. i have put a hold on reading my two complicated books (Anna Karenina and Mein Kampf) to do a lighter reading (Of Human Bondage). We’ll see how this one works out. Maybe after a couple of light readings I can get my old self back. I really miss her :(

read a book a week
Cotton Queen 1 year ago

I haven’t really started on this goal until this week. I do not know if it’s going to be a book a week or maybe 3 books a month. I just finished a book called Cotton Queen which was really good. It told a great story about this mother/daughter and their different lives growing up. I would recommend everyone going out and reading it.
