My name’s Ashley, a lot of people just call me Ash.

I’m an excessively creative person. I love writing, drawing, music…video games, anime, movies. Sewing and designing…Taking pictures. All that stuff. Creativity is the little bit of intelligence I can get through to other people, and even then, most times, it’s misunderstood.

My sewing/designing clothing – Being able to create something I can wear, or something other people can really enjoy thrills me. I enjoy styles, with inspirations such as Harajuku. It’s creative and makes me work in a way that no

My drawing – I typically stick to the anime style. I can draw still life, as well as fantasy figures such as faeries. I tend to really go against the grain and draw things in my own way and try to portray my own interpretation. Whenever I’ve tried to draw like others, it’s never turned out as anything but unique by my own hand. Despite being my own worst critic, I know it’s quite fluid and flows in it’s own way, despite it not being of the “norm”. It makes me feel constructive but distinguished, and I thoroughly enjoy it.

My visuals – My video games, anime…my movies. I love video games the most out of the three, because, despite their insignificance, I can’t deny that it’s showing me a good time. I really love games like Pokemon and Animal Crossing…Harvest Moon, and The Legend of Zelda…Final Fantasy 7 has always been a favorite; the art and music that goes into the games are just astounding. Crisis Core…That game is forever a favorite. I collect the systems, I have everything from Atari and NES to the Wii, Sega Genesis to Dreamcast, then the Xbox 360, PSOne to PS3..I’ve near got ‘em all.

When it comes to anime or movies, I really dislike sitting in one place with no interactivity whatsoever, just staring at something and having to really absorb it…is slightly annoying for me. Whenever I watch a movie, I’m almost always doing something else, and it’s just in the background. I prefer comedies or action/adventure, usually, because it’s entertaining me.

Taking pictures-and no, I’m not a photographer, I just love simply taking pictures-is something I seldom do anymore. I really need to get back on it. I love capturing memories to have. To remember what I was doing or thinking then in that moment. It’s a lot of fun, and I like reminiscing.

Music – God, I love my iPod. If it’s upbeat and fast, I’m there, usually. Techno and Happy Hardcore are favorites. I also love a good deal of Pop. Really, I love a little bit of everything, because I’m just as likely to listen to TOOL and Deathlok as I am MSI, Gackt, or Tokio Hotel. Nirvana, Paramore, POTUSA…Anything, if I like the sound.

To get a bit more personal, I’m in a relationship – Amber and I have been together since January of 2006, she’s my life and my entire world. (Yes, I’m in a lesbian relationship.) We share three four-legged children; Logan, Hazel, and Briar. I love my dogs, they really are our children, and as a family, they provide me with some of the most wonderful memories I could ever dream of.
