I suggest finding a place that does jumps from 10,000 feet or higher. This gives enough time for the adrenaline to subside somewhat, allowing you to stop screaming, look around, and enjoy yourself. Also, don’t tell your family that you’ve jumped until afterwards, but make sure you don’t die too. :>)
I jumped here and had a great experience. The instructors both had over 10 years of experience, and everything went really smoothly. Not to mention the scenery was beautiful.

After 5 years of German in college, 1.5 years of living abroad in Braunschweig, Liechtenstein, and Berlin, and close to 2 years working with German companies, I am fluent. The icing on the cake for me is when people ask what part of Germany I come from. Sure, half of them are probably just being polite. But I know I’ve fooled a couple.
If anyone would like help reaching this goal, feel free to send me a message. I will say up front that I am not perfect at grammar, but mumbling through der/den/dem when you don’t really know has worked for me. Heck, most Germans do it anyway. Which brings me to another point. I am great at colloquial German (including curse words and body parts). :>)
Looking forward to helping out,
Josh
