...i’ve managed to keep up the Morning Papers for about a week and a half. Almost skipped today, but the great thing is my wife encouraged me to squeeze it in.

I became interested in baking bread, not because I like bread so much. It just felt like an ancient art in sharp contrast to most of what people do all day. It felt like something that would teach patience and an understanding of nature and what it means to be human. I’ve probably only baked about 10 loaves of bread at this point, and also some pastry, pizza, and crackers. But I know it’s a practice that I will never tire of.
Well….it’s again too late to finish that Christmas album for 2005. But I have done a lot more music this year…not a lot but any improvement is good. One of the most exciting things I’ve been doing is making arrangements of my grandmother’s hymns—which would make a great addition to the album, or one in it’s’ own right. I’ve also established a new “musical diary” that can be seen here: http://jrmaudio.blogspot.com
