So I’ve completed this goal, and it feels fracking awesome. But I want to do more, so I’m going to add to this fund. But I think achieving this warrants my removing it from the list, and adding a new goal to replace it. But still, woohoo! I rule at saving! :]

How I did it: I was at the lake near the boy's grandparents' house near Gig Harbor. It was the 4th of July and we were finding smooth rocks to try and skip, mostly for him though. I kept trying a few times to no avail, and then finally he showed me some techniques regarding angling and height of the throw. After about 5 tries, I finally got it! Read how I did it…
This happened, hurrah! Although, it could’ve been much more epic had a few factors not been there, not taken place:
1) Stupid, stupid rednecks drinking Miller High Life that started moshing. Yes, MOSHING!
2) Red Bull and their firehose spraying people off. Was this a wet t-shirt contest or Sonic Youth? I’m not quite sure.
Other than that, they sounded insanely tight and excellent after all these years. I highly recommend it!
Been scraping and scrounging and frugaling it up, but I’m pretty close. I figure that my the end of July I should be done with this goal. Since I’ll be nearly halfway by the end of this month, I’ll slow down a bit fulfilling this goal and start saving for other funds. Fantastic.
