Each class, we vote on outstanding performance and breakthrough (most improved) performance. My boss has been continuously asking if I have won an award yet. Each time I’ve had to say no…noo..not yet…no..

But the next time she asks I can say that I won outstanding performance last night! YEAH!

My speech was on being enthusiastic about working out! (= I was more excited than I thought I would be and my thank you speech was all right ;o)

I have missed Dale Carnegie classes. We are past halfway through the course. We did a midpoint evaluation/feedback. I evaluated that I need to do more of the readings AND prepare my speeches well in advance.

I missed the second session of this course, because I was out of town last week. Apparently the homework was to make up a two minute speech. I made mine up and it ended up being more like a minute. I was content with the results, despite the lack of preparation.
