I’ve been sending out resumes for months with no luck. Then I got an interview at a library but didn’t get hired. I have a B.A. in English and want to work in publishing or with books or something related, but other than having worked at a bookstore I have no experience. I don’t want to be a receptionist or work in customer service the rest of my life, but I don’t know what to do.
I’ve always been skinny. Super underweight. It’s genetic and I have a small frame, but strangers ask me all the time whether or not I’m anorexic. They make judgements about me and ask personal questions.
It’s also almost impossible to find clothes that fit since everything is geared towards plus-size people. I usually have to shop in the children’s department or accept that I look like a little girl dressing in her mother’s clothing.
