I will be going to the hot air balloon fiesta in New Mexico this year. I’ve heard it’s amazing and spectacular. Hopefully, I’ll finally ride a balloon, but it’s $300 a person! ouch!

It’s nearing summer’s end, but unfortunately, I did not save enough to do the jump. On a more positive note though, I paid down most of my credit card debt and will be financially free (save student loans) by the end of September. I think having that peace of mind will outweigh the sadness of not skydiving. Also, with the credit cards out of the way, it’ll be a little easier to save for the skydive!
I’m a little ahead of schedule. I had predicted to be out of credit card debt by the end of this year. The Gods of Fortune have smiled graciously down upon me and I estimate, barring any unforeseen events, that I will be out of the by the end of September. I will post another update then as to where I stand.
Cross your fingers for me! I’m excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
