Wii Fit To The Rescue! 9 months ago

I haven’t done anything with my weight loss. I stopped taking my prescription and stopped getting any type of exercise. The last month has been beyond stressful. I’ve had a ton of doctor’s appointments, my grandmother passed, and now I’m having surgery in a week to have a tumor in my chest removed. One of the things my family does in stressful times is eat, and therefore, so have I. Yesterday I’d had enough, went out and bought a Wii Fit. Today was the first day I got to use it and woo boy, I don’t know whether to hang myself or be excited. First off, I’m back at 236 lbs according to my balance board; I have a BMI of 33.74 which is Obsese, and my center of balance is off 49.8% to 50.2%. My Wii Fit age is only 25, which isn’t bad considering that will be my real age in just 3 months. After 39 minutes of trying each available activity (and the ones I unlocked during those 39 minutes), I dropped .7lbs, dropped my BMI to 33.64, but upped my Wii Fit age to 27.

For those of you toying with the idea of buying a Wii Fit, I can tell you it’s worth every penny. Do yourselves a favor though, pick up the rechargeable battery back and the DreamGear set with the Yoga mat and silicone cover.

Meet Me at Wordpress 11 months ago

So I’ve always been fascinated by the world of blogging and have found in the past, that it can be very therapeutic. Having hopped from sites like OpenDiary and LiveJournal, and taking advantage of the “blogging” options through MySpace, I’ve never really found a niche with it. I just got turned onto both Wordpress and Windows Vista little Live Writer and have decided to turn to blogging a bit more. While I’ve accomplished STARTING a blog, which was the initial goal, I’d like to keep up with it and make it a fixture in my online routine. So, for anyone with some morbid curiousity, I’m at:

First Block Down 11 months ago

So I’m doing the whole online degree thing for 2 reasons – I wasn’t sure where I’d be living in a few months (Ocala! Tampa! Connecticut!), and it’s a fuck load cheaper than even the community colleges around here.

Instead of having 2 semesters of 4 or more classes, I have 4 blocks of 2 classes. I’ve completed my 1st block of classes and have a gpa of 3.67.
