I have the connections, the voice, some of the most creative musicians in Rochester, and an accomplished songwriter/guitarist in my band. This is finally going to happen.

How I did it: Graduated college, got a nice job somewhere else and moved the hell out of that state. I now live in Pennsylvania and I love it! I already can't wait to get an even better job and move somewhere else, but I have to be patient. Read how I did it…
How I did it: While I was home I got up everyday at 6am, went running, made breakfast, and sent out resumes until 5pm for 3-4 weeks. When you don't have a job or you're living at home, your JOB is to find a job. Don't sleep in til 12 because inquiring about a job at 3 or 4 in the afternoon isn't going to get you very far. Stay tenacious and just make it happen. Btw, I didn't get great grades in college so it has nothing to do with academics, it's just … Read how I did it…
How I did it: More all-nighters than I can recall. Lots of weed, cigarettes, and coffee. Be friends with as many people as you possibly can in your major and you will do just fine. Also, don't think you can just drop a class or withdraw, you'll regret it for as long as you're paying back your college loans. I was an idiot for half the time I was at RIT, but I feel like everyone needs to do that however it long it takes them to realize that college isn'… Read how I did it…

I play in a band, we only play covers right now and it bugs the flippin heck out of me! This sounds crazy, but I really feel like I have the vocal ability to be an accomplished lead singer and I have no problem getting up in front of hundreds of people and tearing down the house so to speak. I just know, deep down inside of me, there are a lot of things that I would like to write about. I have had a really rollercoaster-esque life thus far, but I just haven’t been able to convey it to people in a way that they can relate to. Not to mention, it’s so god damn difficult to not be cliche in your lyrics and it tends to get me so frustrated I don’t even want to write any longer. The point is, I need help and I’m going to find it one or another. Any tips for a would-be lyricist?
This is so cool, I would love to do it. Gotta get a nice camera though. Any recommendations for under $300?
