Okay, 7 years ago, at 5’7” tall, I got up to 190lbs and couldn’t fit into my clothes and refused to get a size larger. I joined the YMCA in Saint John, Michigan (where I lived at the time, before moving to Canada) and attended their Aerobics, Yoga and worked out daily. I alternated between Aerobics one day and weight lifting the next. I went down to 142 lbs in 2-1/2 years!
Well since my older daughter moved back home from her 2nd year at the University of New Brunswick – Fredericton to attend this year at the University of New Brunswick – Saint John, I’ve felt like my exercise regime has gone to the wayside. Between both daughters, my 20 yr old working at Fruits & Passion and attending 3rd year Business School and my 17 yr old working at Empire Studios Movie Theatre and finishing her Grade 12 school year, my life feels like it’s been put on hold and I’m only good for “TAXI SERVICE” for my two girls! Starting a new career as a Green REALTOR® has also slowed down my momentum on exercising, and yet I feel like I need it more than ever.
I need a motivator to start my exercise regime again and to go from 152 lbs to 142 lbs again. Plus, toning up will be a WONDERFUL thing to re-accomplish. I need mothers to help me through this. Calling all mothers with teenagers or teenagers that eventually grew up.
