When you rapidly gain weight, you get stretch marks on your legs. Well, I just checked, and I have marks going from my waistline almost to my knees. This is just bad. I also think I’m having chest pains due to putting weight on so fast. It’s harder for me to move around. This spare tire stuck on my belly just looks disgusting.
My body is just not in a good condition. And this is something I could totally undo.
They say it’s a matter of diet and exercise. I think that’s a fair assessment.
Diet – I need to find out what healthy foods the campus offers here and make sure not to overeat. Which is easier said than done. Cutting back on portions means being hungry… and hunger is not something I handle well.
Exercise – there’s a recreation center on the campus and in any case, I can just walk around.
Well, it happened.
I became fat.
I don’t mind being called fat. I’m probably 50 pounds overweight by this point. It’s because I moved onto my college campus and the food they have here is so much more delicious than what I would usually have at home. I overate. Ice cream every day for a month didn’t help much either. The result is this spare tire.
I’m not pleased that this happened. The last time I was overweight was at age 12. When that happened I did the whole diet and exercise thing for a while. In tandem with adolescence I went to a skinny but healthy weight. This time around, I don’t have the aid of puberty. I’m 21, basically fully grown. It’s all on me to get rid of this excess weight. I have no intentions of staying overweight.
Well, I’m officially a freelancer. Sorta. I signed up for the site Fiverr and someone hired me for a quick gig. Made $5. Since I’m offering skills in web programming, writing, and Minecraft, the market’s pretty good for me.
