How I did it: Visit most local zorb centre website. Book the ride. I had two dual-hydro ride vouchers for my birthday so put in the code. Chose a date and time. Arrived 20 minutes early on the day to get prepared! Waited at the bottom of the hill, got driven up in a truck with big zorb ball hanging off the back! Literally dived into the ball with Joe. How I did it: I did a LOT of reading up on Social Work before hand. I did lots of volunteering to gain experience working with different people, eg. children, people with disabilities, elderly people etc. I wrote a personal statement for UCAS which briefly explained why I wanted to do the course and talked quite a bit about the experience I already had, and what I had learnt from each placement.
