If I think about it, I have been happiest when either a) on the deck of a ship, b) hiking, or c) riding my motorcycle. I draw two generalizations from this: I am happiest when in motion and when outside.
If I had a garage and thought I’d be in one place long enough to have a go at it, I’d like to buy and restore an old motorcycle. A Moto Guzzi built in the year of my birth would be my first choice. To this effect, I just bought an old Moto Guzzi workshop manual on eBay and plan to read through it to give me a sense of what I would be getting myself into.
