I’ve been using Livemocha a lot lately, and it’s definitely helping me remember a lot of the vocabulary that I learned ages ago and then forgot about. As of right now I’ve finished Unit 4 of Spanish 102 and am around three quarters of the way through Unit 5!

How I did it: I'm extremely short on money right now and my 400D is pretty much the only thing other than my laptop that would fetch enough cash to cover rent and what have you. The idea of selling it hurt, though, so I told myself that I needed to either start using it a lot more often and look for cash elsewhere, or bite the bullet and put it on Ebay. As soon as I started using it again I realized how amazing the shots can be compared to my point-and… Read how I did it…
How I did it: There's a goth night every Friday at a place called The Attic in Gainesville that I attend every week with most of my friends (who live here)—they're unfortunately the only place that plays decent ebm/industrial/goth/whathaveyou music in town. I signed up at Livemocha today — can’t believe that I hadn’t stumbled upon the site until now!
This was originally “be debt free,” but that’s not very realistic at this point. I have massive amounts of debt by way of student loans (I have two BAs) and it’s going to take me many, many years to pay them off. My credit card balance, though it is $2,500+, is a fraction of that and something that I’ll be able to accomplish once I find a decent job. In theory, of course.
