have more energy
My formula

1. Eat as little of refined/added sugars in your diet.
2. Maintain a proper sleep cycle. I found that, if I go to sleep late all the time, such as at 2 am…even if I get 8-9 hrs of sleep that night, I’ll still feel tired.
3. Exercise.
4. Eliminate energy-draining behaviors such as: procrastinating, watching mindless TV, wasting time for hours online…

get in shape
"getting in shape"

What does it mean to be “in shape”? It’s pretty subjective. For one person it may mean being able to walk up 5 flights of stairs, for another, it may mean doing a 10K marathon or cranking out 50 push-ups.

Before I outline any specific fitness goals (you know, stuff with definite numbers and such), I’d like to take this month to simply get into a daily exercise habit—setting aside 30 mins or so for simple cardio, strength, and flexibility training.

Once I’m there, I’ll start setting further goals, like how many bears I intend to beat in arm-wrestling or how fast I intend to swim across the English Channel. One step at a time…

learn to swim
Untitled

My lack of aquatic abilities is a great source of mockery that my friends love to take advantage of…”whaaat?? you can’t swim??? what’s wrong with you???”

.....looks like it’s time to find a community pool and sign up for some classes.
