I seriously used to know how to do this, both by hand and with a machine. Since I haven’t done it in years, I have no idea even where to start. I wish I knew. I’ve been considering a class. I’ll let you know how that goes.

I think “make more art” was a good goal, but I think more specifically I want to just create more. Art is the general biproduct of the things I’m thinking about, but I wanted the goal to be more encompassing. I done any hands-on creating since I made all the tags for my Christmas gifts. I want to get back to art journaling, making button-badges, taking pictures, redesigning my websites.
If I were honest, I’d say this was also part of a bigger goal, which is to try not to let my mental state affect the things I do (or don’t, as the case may be). But let’s take one small step at a time.
but i’m beginning to think this will never happen. i’m too much about immediate gratification. (that just sounds bad, i know.)
