How I did it
It made me

How I did it: I spent a lot of hours in the car with my dad driving in circles around a local highschool parking lot. Once I had that mastered (almost) I advanced to driving on back roads near my house. From there the next step was highways, merging, and stoplights. Despite breaking down in tears when my car stalled out at a light and rolling backwards away from a lot of hilly stops I did finally learn to be comfortable with my manual transmission.
