Well I got close (19 lbs) and then gained almost all back. I’m only 4 lbs less than when I started. Guess I’ll carry this one over to 2013.

How I did it: I bought a Groupon a little more than a year ago as an incentive to get around to doing this. Naturally, I called to set up a reservation a few days before it expired, because procrastination is next to godliness (wait, what), but they were booked up for weeks. Luckily, you can still apply the value to the cost of the jump.I'd already decided to have a "staycation" this week, so I set up a reservation for the jump. I wen… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I updated my resume and profile and spread the word through my friends. I did use a recruiter, although the job I ended up taking was not one of their clients. Read how I did it…

I didn't do much for a few months -- just poked around and did research, then just a week or two before my flight I booked all of my hotels and activities. Perhaps I should not have procrastinated quite so long, but it all worked out. Read how I did it…

I’m slightly demoralized because I did not meet my Stickk goal this week, which means I pay $20 of real-not-Monopoly money. And as of today, I will have to get lucky and be damn near perfect to make it this week.
I can only try right? This last few pounds are SO HARD. GET OUTTA MY BELLAH!
The fancy orthopedist is having me bike 3-4 times a week. Too soon to tell if that is doing much. He referred me to a podiatrist, who referred me to MORE PHYSICAL THERAPY! Yay! It is Graston technique which is not quite the same, but similar to what I just did. I couldn’t get in until July 11th though.
Blah.
