I’m very social when I’m drunk but that’s only a weekend phenomenon, its much harder during week with full time classes, 15 hours of work, and 9 hours of meeting plus transportation time from campus. But that’s a lame ass excuse right? What I’ve noticed though is that even with friends, I can’t talk for too long cause I need to go somewhere or do something and my attention span isn’t there. When I’m relaxed that’s different, but this quarter is just hell on heels when it comes to stress. I barely have enough time to kick it with people on campus, let alone make the effort to find new people. It use much easier socializing while I was living on campus last year, dining hall was a good place to stop by – eat, talk and chill out…

I need to find a new medium to meet new people besides those those ungodly hours of partying on the weekends. I’m starting up soccer soon and possibly starting up climbing at pacific edge in a few weeks, but I need more options. I’ll have to come back on this one…

I finally got some time yesterday to learn a little guitar, the very basics at least. I can’t see myself progressively learning day by day during the rest of quarter though, there honestly isn’t enough time. Both my housemates play at least once every other day so I’ll be continually obsessed. For now I’ve decided to spend a great deal of winter break to learning and practicing. This will also give me time to pick out a suitable guitar to practice on.

I told myself one night to party and the other to study, it wasn’t suppose to be last night but I’m glad it was cause it was worth it. But I really do need to start before I really get into some trouble. The hardest thing about studying harder is managing the time, that and a lack of focus while doing so. I need to go back and reschedule my study times before I screw myself this quarter.
