On our most recent family vacation, we had an impromptu cribbage tournament that was so much fun that I think we will continue it as a tradition. So, I’m committed to keep playing and try to improve. I still am pretty bad after a few beers, but hey anyone can get lucky and if I work on my pegging I just might have a chance. Oh, and in the pic you can check out my most prized possession acquired from a rummage sale- the bowling pin cribbage board.

I’m simply not cut out for running. Is there anything more boring in the entire world? I tried doing a training plan, I tried running outside, inside on the treadmill, with a friend, etc. But, I must have a psychological block. Perhaps Scandinavian people that like cold weather should stick to cross country skiing. I mean I could walk for 6 straight months (and I actually have!) on a hiking trail, but one mile jogging is nearly impossible for me. Oh well, there is always swimming!
I am a new librarian in the Las Vegas area. My first professional position is as the digital librarian at an academic library and I am really interested in social networking so I decided to check out 43 Things. It’s very cool to see that librarians are teaming up. I’d love to be involved! Keep in touch!
