I’ve dreamed of this day, and then with little fanfare my wife and I sat down for our last finincial meeting with balances on our credit cards. We paid the balances off, and then some, and (aside from a mortgage some day) will never again have to stress over being in debt. We are now a part of the “under 30 with no debt” minority statistic, and it feels great!!
A pat on the back to me and my wife, for working hard, spending thriftily, and maintaining a strong conciousness when it comes to our money. We did it. We PAID OFF ALL OUR DEBT!! YEAH!!

Connecting to my heritage as a Jew was the most amazing experience I could ever imagine. Just to feel the Earth where my ancestors from thousands of years ago walked and talked and lived was just incredible. It was at once powerful, emotional, and spiritual. Plus my group of 40 Americans and 7 Israeli soldiers couldn’t have been better. I wish my wife could have been there too, but otherwise the trip was perfect.

I saw one REALLY interesting documentary (The Workshop), a couple of pretty good films, and a bunch of really terrible ones. I thought the calibur of the films at the Tribeca Film Festival 2007 in NYC would be excellent, and it just wasn’t so. Regardless, it didn’t cost me anything since my wife lovingly shared her voulenteer vouchers with me. Overall, I saw 7 or 8 films and liked half.
