Seeing the Northern Lights is like an acid trip without the acid. Most interesting place- In a plane at 10,000 feet over Montana. Most spectacular- Canadian border, late September. Most peaceful- 2:00 in the morning, out of gas on the way to Fairbanks with my brother.
