How I did it: I've been thinking about doing yoga for about a year now but it took me ages to get round to actually looking for a place to do it.I used to live in a town called Dorking, and was going to join the yoga class with a friend, but then plans changed, I went to university and moved to Portsmouth. How I did it: I taught myself to touch type 5 or so years ago because I thought it looked like a useful thing to be able to do. I practiced a lot because it turned out that I found it quite fun and wanted to get faster at it. After a while I stopped practising, by which time I usually had a speed of at least 100WPM. After this I still typed a lot as I spent a lot of time on MSN, on the internet or writing essays, and still do now. I found a typing spee… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I was shopping in Guildford with two friends one weekend and someone approached us asking if we would be interested in taking a kickboxing self-defence class, and offered a free introductory lesson. My two friends weren't really too keen on the idea but I managed to persuade one of them to come with me. The next week we went to the intro lesson and it was really fun. I decided that I might want to go to Germany for a year of my degree so thought it would be a good idea to learn more German before going, so I just applied for IWLP German classes with my University. Just gotta wait now to see if they accept.

Uh oh 2 months ago

I now really want to learn to drive – My boyfriend let me drive his car twice on his driveway and on a private road and it’s really fun! I can do hill starts and gear changes and things and really wanna learn to drive but can’t afford it… There’s also a car that I want to buy, but again, can’t afford that either!
