How I did it: I was unsure about if I wanted to continue writing as a hopeful career path. I traveled overseas for six months to Canada and because I was away from everyday life I was able to finally write the script I'd wanted to. I completed the script a little after I'd come home. It was a very proud moment to have finally finished it! Read how I did it…
First I have to have written something that is sellable, rather than something just written for me. Then comes the really hard party of actually selling it, I guess I have to get an agent at some point as well. So many things to do before it’s sold!
I have an idea for a short film script, where two guys who at first seem to be complete opposites meet in by chance at night in a carpark and they find their similarities and themselves over the course of the night. I’m currently in the process of creating the two main characters. I’m hoping to have completed the character development and plot outline by May 7th.
