I am beginning to juice. One 32 oz. bottle of fresh squeezed fruits and veggies carries me for hours. My stomach is also flatter after just three days of juicing in the morning and eating moderately the rest of the day. My beginning weight is 145. I will post my progress as I go along.
It’s time to drop the weight. But not on a fad diet, I’m going back to school and I need all the brain power and energy I can as I will be working a full-time job as well. So these dietary changes are something I intend to incorporate into my life permenantly.
I’m in my mid-40’s. I’ve been out of school for 15 years ( I got an associates degree in graphic design at 30 ) so the whole thing of college classes is a little daunting but I am so at the time in my life where I’m ready.
Recently, I met with an advisor at the college I want to attend. It was a big step toward achieving my goal of going back to college. What I may end up doing is taking core classes at a local CC and then for the degree focus, go to the university. I am going for a BFA degree. Classes won’t start until the summer. It’ll be here before I know it though.
