I started borrowing audio books from my library, and listening to them during the day while I’m at work. It’s not quite the same, but it has kept me entertained and I’ve even learned a bit (though non-fiction is harder to focus on than fiction).

He's crazy, but we love him!

The love of a pet is TOTALLY worth the stress. The best part of my day is when I get home from work, park myself in front of my computer, and our pup Malakai lays down against my legs. Advice: If your dog is a little on the crazy side, or a LOT on the crazy side as was our case, go out and invest in a Gentle Leader. It worked wonders for us.

Well I didn’t exactly “save money for my wedding” at least not the way I intended. We finally decided that we just had to go for it and start planning, and hope that everything fell into place, rather than saying we’d wait til we had some savings and then start planning. So, that’s my advice – don’t save, just do it.
