It is important to pay attention to detail in something like this. It is not easy to know what motivates another person, and so you might sit back and just listen to the things they might talk about. What if they are nervous, and therefore chatter a bit too much? What then? Do I realize that it is the reason? It takes a long time to know someone, and with the way we are so rushed these days, it’s not easy. What things are important afterall? I read some prose that I liked very much. It’s called>The Invitation by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. If you get a few minutes, take a look. It may inspire you. At what point, are we really ready to meet our potential mate?

I am currently working on a fiction story. It is basically complete, except for a few things. I am also editing it. Boy, can things change when you do that. I keep going over it again and again till it sounds right and seems real enough to me. My characters tend to live inside of me. I might be thinking of them while driving down the street. What I find helpful is to create dialogue and then build around that. I love dialogue since that’s action right up front.Exposition is more difficult for me, but not impossible. This image, that you see,was taken by another photographer. Several scenes in my story take place in an area like this. I went there and camped to get a feel for it. Isn’t it lovely?
